F - Fiddlers Elbow

An emerald in the rough of the City centre .

A non gimmicky Irish pub that has glorious events throughout the year.

Price;                                                                            6/10
Not super expensive, not super cheap but a fair enough price for such a central pub. Apparently the Guinness is cheap, but us not being Guiness drinkers couldn't really say.

Location;                                                                   9.5/10
Right next to West Street, Depending on your views of West st its either amazing or eugh, you have the option of turning right straight into the Laines.

Atmosphere;                                                                 7/10
Busy, but lets remember that its right in the middle of town next to west st, so there were a few people getting 'ready' for the night ahead. It's very green (not in a eco earth and stars way), the bar walls are worth a look at as you will see some interesting things adorning them.

Amenities;                                                                   8/10
Mostly for their St Patrick's day celebrations, which see Boyce's St become a street party, but there are DJ's live music and open mic nights, and other events, throughout the year. The Fiddlers Elbow also show some sport if thats your thing.

Toilets;                                                                        6/10
There were a few stairs involved, and once you got there its pretty small but clean, nothing horrific but nothing wonderful.

If you want a gimmicky Irish pub then there is another for that not too far away, if you want friendly, and cozy then this is for you.

Find it;  11 Boyce's Street,
            Brighton,
            BN11AN
