B -The Bath Arms

No frills, lots of spills in the city center.

What would you expect from a central pub on a Saturday night? Pretty much this....

Price;                                                                             5/10
This place hit above our £ 13.40 average but it is central Brighton, and therefore we figured this was about fair based on location.

Location;                                                                       9/10
Just a couple of minutes down from the Churchill Square. Really easy to find if you know where it is, easy to miss if you're a bit clueless on Brighton/drunk.

Atmosphere;                                                                  6/10

Busy, which is to be expected for a city center place on a saturday night, however its seemed too busy for us. while it wasn't unfriendly it was a bit of a 'manly' place, mostly drunk men (too old for us thanks) and in the time we were there 3 glasses had been drunkenly broken.

Amenities;                                                                   2.5/10
A nice food menu and free wifi but we could not see any evidence of any thing else going on during the week or live music/DJ's at any time and the seats outside are fine. Nothing to get excited about but on less busy times it would be a nice place for catch ups with friends.

Toilets;                                                                          6/10

Locked, cleanish, there was minimal loo roll. Pretty much average, no horror stories but nothing wonderful.

Nice enough place, has all the basics and if ideal if you're just after a drink or to before going out-out. Theres no reason we wouldn't go back but no reason to rush back.
